Why is the API so often down / non-responsive?

The API is super often down lately or super slow to response. Why?
Of course also affects awork UI itself, and our users.

Also status.awork.com appears to be broken.

For instance, have a look at this image:

A couple of minutes later it looks like:

The incident is no longer shown. No I haven’t mixed up the two images.
I have seen this happening several times now. Why?

we had yesterday infrastructure issues which are now resolved.
Today we do not know about any performance degradation besides a small spike at 8:20.

The past incidents are listed on the statuspage if you scroll down a bit. The images you posted show different timeframes or?

It wasn’t a „small“ spike at 08:20. Look at the graphs, it says 15.000 msecs.

Yes, we had issues today. Webhooks failed due to the slow API response times. Yesterday it interrupted the work of our users.

Within the last 7 days there were issues on January 7, January 9, Yesterday, and also today. And before that also every few days. Maybe not during the holidays but before. They are often not shown as incidents on status.awork.com. I can’t name you the exact times now, but it happened more often than can be seen on status.awork.com.

Ok, understood - with small spike i ment the timeframe of the issue. Anyways, we are doing our bests that issues like yesterday are not happening again.

Happened again today at 11:30~11:40. Failed webhooks due to unresponsive API.
